BOOK 1

(Psalms 1-41)

<1> What great blessings there are for those who don’t listen to evil advice,

who don’t live like sinners

and don’t join those who make fun of God.

不从恶人的计谋、不站罪人的道路、不坐亵慢人的座位

<2> Instead, they love the Lord’s teachings

and think about them day and night.

惟喜爱耶和华的律法、昼夜思想、这人便为有福。

<3> So they grow strong,

like a tree planted by a stream—

a tree that produces fruit when it should

and has leaves that never fall.

Everything they do is successful.

1:3 他要像一棵树栽在溪水旁、按时候结果子、叶子也不枯干。凡他所作的、尽都顺利。

<4> But the wicked are not like that.

They are like chaff that the wind blows away.

1:4 恶人并不是这样、乃像糠秕被风吹散。

<5> When the time for judgment comes, the wicked will be found guilty.

Sinners have no place among those who do what is right.

1:5 因此当审判的时候、恶人必站立不住。罪人在义人的会中、也是如此。

<6> The Lord protects those who do right,

but the wicked are on their way to destruction.

1:6 因为耶和华知道义人的道路。恶人的道路、却必灭亡。
